My Story
I’ve always been passionate about the role fathers play in the lives of their children. My father was not in my life - his choosing. Papa Was a Rolling Stone: A Daughter's Journey to Forgiveness, is my story of father absence and my struggle to understand and forgive my father. The experience to write this book was so cathartic. It ultimately freed me from the tremendous burden of anger and set me on a path to help others who experienced the same to heal and forgive. The greatest reward for telling my story has been the simple recognition by father's that the role they play in the daughter's lives is important.

When my former husband and I divorced in the late 90's we committed to a singular focus to put our children first during the process. It was difficult but we did it. My next book will examine the elements of our approach and the outcome I believe we achieved for our children and family.
